Hello everyone; miss me? I miss you all; how’s life, Let’s say hi to September, in a few days the Fall season will come to us with its coziness, hot coffee, cozy sweater, fallen leaves, Halloween/Fall movies, and shows; are you excited like I’m; I’m very excited about Fall…
So, let’s grab our coffee, or any drink you prefer, and go together on a trip to the ’80s, to one of my favorite movies; you didn’t know it yet; it’s “St. Elmo’s Fire” (I’ll tell you a fun fact, I’m hearing the soundtrack while writing this to you. 😀 <3)

Why did I put the headline (the crisis of growing up)? Okay, so if you haven’t graduated yet, watch this one, If you graduated already and have fears of responsibility, commitment, finding work, and passion; watch this one; if you’re in whatever age, watch this movie…
St. Elmo’s Fire, a movie released in 1985, is described as an American coming-of-age movie; starring Emilio Estevez, Rob Lowe, Andrew McCarthy, Demi Moore, Judd Nelson, Ally Sheedy, Andie MacDowell, and Mare Winningham.
Here is a spoiler alert, If you didn’t watch the movie, skip this part; it’s a movie about a group of friends who recently graduated, and go out to the real world to find their ways, their passion, love, friendship, and the responsibilities of adulthood.
It didn’t receive good or positive reviews, but still was a boxing hit; I love watching movies at every age whether with good reviews or not; you could say I love to have my thoughts on the movies and shows, and not depend on critics and reviews.

I loved the movie, and I watched it twice, I don’t know why it took negative reviews at that time anyway, I think it’s a good movie, still the question of why I wrote that headline; okay, 1st of all I will ask you a question what happened to you after graduation? What did you feel?
So, school or college, they are part of life, but somehow easy one, yeah, you work hard to get to the college you dream about or win a scholarship, or go to another city or county because you want the university of your dream; still after graduating suddenly you find out that something became empty, became void, you have dreams, goals, and passion, yet, you feel strange; Why?
In a simple answer, it is the adulthood crisis, I call it this, like the middle-aged crisis, it’s just a symbol to express what we feel after graduation, what we feel when we start realizing we’re not kids anymore, like teenagers, they are confused, not kids anymore, yet, not adult enough to take their choices and have completely free life…
I think every age has its crisis, so the adulthood, the fear you suddenly face, the fear of losing your friends, or your love, or the fear of finding the right job because yeah, money is important; or the fear of finding a good house to live in and getting out from your family house; the fear of responsibilities.

In this movie, you will see 7 friends going their ways to adulthood and coming-of-age, 7 different people, best friends, Life started surprising them, testing them and their friendship; 7 friends, 4 boys, and 3 girls; I think you’ll find yourself in one of them for sure, or at least find some part of you in one of them…
You’ll see the reckless boy, who is a talented musician, but drinks a lot and never keeps a job, the responsible boy, the hero of them all, but underneath this image, a fear of losing everything and everyone; the boy who has a crush on a woman who was a senior in their school, and while trying to impress her he will find his way to what he really wants; the creative, sensitive boy, the writer who is in love with his friend forever that he didn’t try to get in any relation with any other woman because he loves just one girl…
The girl with passion, who wants to find her way in the world and is in love with the hero and responsible one; the girl who thinks she’s fat and has some insecurities, but she’s kind and lovely; the last but not the least, the naughty reckless girl, who afraid of growing up and afraid of losing everything.

Let’s admit, it’s not easy to figure out who you are, and what you want in life; but who says you should figure it out now, who says if you didn’t figure it out while you’re 20-something you’ll be a loser, some people still finding themselves after 30 something or even after 40!
Because this is life, we change and keep changing, every age has its crises, its fears, its beauty, and simply we need to embrace life, embrace yourself, you might want something now and after a year or few years want something else…
The beauty of life is that we can keep going on a trip to find ourselves, to be who we want to be, it’s like a try and error; so, it’s okay, to fail, okay to fall, but never okay to give up on yourself nor on your dreams.
Thank you all for taking the time to read this piece, hope you like it, till next time stay safe, smile and be happy, embrace yourself, and never give up… XO XO ❤ ❤
