Now I don’t know if there’ll be snow
But have a cup of cheer
Hello everyone, how are you? How’s life? I miss you all already, and here we are together again. So let’s have our cup of cheer, whether that cup is coffee, hot chocolate, tea, or whatever; let’s grab it and dive together into today’s post.
Is it that time of year? Is it Christmas yet? Why is everyone decorating so early, even though Halloween just ended almost a week ago? Did they even decorate for Halloween? What’s going on? The shops put the Christmas decor, and the stores fill with decor; it’s the 1st week of November, but what can I say, I adore that time of the year and don’t mind if it can stay as long as it can…
Even Netflix put its holiday list; so let’s get ready too 😀 ❤ But how? Come with me to get ready for the Holidays…
Clean and Declutter;

First thing first, clean and declutter your house, take a week or so to clean your house, clean the drawers, the closets, and every room you have, start decluttering, and organize things you don’t use anymore, or don’t need.
You can donate those things, sell them, or as in the USA have a garage sale, In Egypt, we have it too, we have a vintage souq where you can sell your things in a bazaar or sell them online…
If you decorated for Fall and Halloween, start taking them off if you want and put them in boxes and get a clean fresh place to start over…
Make a list;

2nd, start making lists, a list of things you want to be done with, a list of places you want to go to, maybe you’re traveling the next month or this month, make a list of everything you want to do and places to visit in that country or city you’re traveling to.
Make a shopping list for Christmas decor, clothes, essentials you need, and the budget you have, to not let it open and spend a lot of money on things you don’t need…
Start a new list of every room and the decoration ideas for each room, and make a list of things that is boring, but you have to do like paying bills, going to check-ups, and so on…
Make a bucket list for things you want to do in the Holidays, things you’ve been postponing, or things like your New Year resolutions, maybe you can begin now, or begin with the lists you’ve been postponing for so long…
If you’re giving gifts, hosting Christmas dinner; or New Year’s dinner, start making a list of gifts you want to buy, how to wrap them, what cards you want to put with them; what food you need for your table, and of course Thanksgiving is coming too so this list can save you.
Make a list of holiday movies and a list of books you want to read. Make a list of events, bazaars, and workshops you want to go to…
Go shopping;

You made the list, let’s go shopping, but don’t forget your coffee on the go; go shopping for decor, a lot of stores have sales, and before it ends let’s go and check it.
For me, I love the sight of the stores filled with Christmas decor everywhere; go shopping for clothes if you need them, and gifts; maybe you need some new books to read this holiday season…
Decorate;

Let’s start decorating and fill the lace with the scent of Christmas; and the colors of holidays; what’s better than having time with family to decorate for holidays, open some songs, and start turning your place into your dream wonderland…
In the end, don’t forget who is in need, donate, do some good deeds, pray for people who can’t enjoy the holidays and families that lost their children in wars, be grateful for what you have and can have, and enjoy every little thing and be joyful about it.
Also, don’t forget to take care of yourself and your mental health and stay safe; always smile and never give up. Love you all and till the next time be safe and happy… ❤ ❤ XO XO
