Hello everyone, How are you? How’s everything? It’s December, the season of magic and holidays, the season of Christmas and New Year; it’s winter the season of sweaters and hot chocolate, so let’s grab our warm hot chocolate and go together to meet the trends on the 2024 Christmas edition…
Bows everywhere;
It’s the Bow season, if you noticed, whether you watched YouTubers’ decor or read about it in magazines, you’ll find that this Christmas is the bow season, the bows are so trendy now, in my point of view it’s not always beautiful especially the huge bow on the top of the tree, I hate it sorry but not sorry… 😀
I watched so many YouTube videos in the Decorate with Me series and didn’t like all the bow ideas on the tree, but I found so few that are beautiful, elegant, and nice with the ornaments; maybe I’m an ornament lover. 😀 ❤
The DIYs;
I noticed a lot that many have gotten back to the DIYs, they started doing things handmade, or buying something cheap and turning it into something trendy and elegant, like a snow town with Epsom salt, and coloring cheap wooden houses and turning them into gingerbread houses…
Handmade wreaths, Christmas charms, and so on, all are as beautiful as the trends in the stores.
Back to oldies;
Do you remember your old house or your grandparent’s house, that rustic look, the vintage decor, the nostalgia for the old Christmas look, the classics red and green, the natural tree, the garland on the mantel that is natural and real not fake, the old dinner set on the table, the vintage decor look, and the old cushions on the couch…
The battery-operated candles on the tree make it look like old trees when they used to put candles to light it…
Gingerbread theme;
I think this one is a trend every year, but this year is so much, I love the gingerbread theme, especially in the kitchen; but did you see the gingerbread and cane theme in the whole house, and I mean it in the whole house; so much gingerbread man and woman, gingerbread houses, and candy cane mini stores and gingerbread town, gingerbread cushions, gingerbread towels, gingerbread carpets gingerbread toys, gingerbread everywhere 😀 but I love it actually… ❤
Jewelry, sparkle, huge ornaments, and huge decor;
You also might notice the huge nutcrackers indoors and huge ornaments; also, the jewels and sparkle ornaments on the tree, but I don’t like the jewels thing at all and the huge ornaments under the tree, the nutcracker isn’t bad but not suitable for every house especially if you put it indoor…
