I need Cash…

What is the most important thing to carry with you all the time?

Today’s prompt is asking a very interesting question, What is the most important thing to carry with you all the time?

To answer this I want to tell you a story first, in Egypt, last month there was a huge fire in a communication center in Cairo, this accident was a reason to stop payments with cards, also a reason for being unable to make calls with smartphones or use the internet, and any communications were affected and stayed like this days…

I was outside that day, and forgot to take cash as usual,  so I was like many others in a situation where I couldn’t pay, like many others, but fortunately, the manager of the coffee shop was good and kind, he assured me that is OK to pay tomorrow or something…

So, this situation showed how people were there for each other and help in need.

My answer is that cash is very important,  even though we forgot its importance because of technology and modernity, but has it become extinct? No, never, because the incident I told you about above is a prove that technology can be tricky and we should not fully rely on it..

Yes, technology is important and good, but anything can change in a blink, so cash never fades out, you have to have some for any reason such as what happened to me, or anything else can happen; cash still important and it’s my necessary to not go out without.

It saves the day after all and I think we should give it its value back.
