Summer vibes

Hello everyone, how are you today? How’s your day? Here we are again for another coffee date; if you don’t want to drink coffee, it’s fine, grab your drink and let’s go on a date and talk about the Summer…

Fun fact, I’m not a fan of summer time, I hate hot weather and each year the weather gets hotter; I’m a Winter and Fall girl; that heat is so bad to my skin 😀 but I love the sea so much, also I found out that I get depressed in summer, I feel down and not myself at all, but when Fall and Winter come I become so excited and ready for making plans…

If you are like me, don’t like summer so much, then this for you, and if you a fan of the summer then this also for you; so without any further ado let’s go.

Hot weathers make you depressed, or feel down and not good; or you love summer but it gets messy with you; here are some tips and tricks to pass summer and have its vibes too…

Water, water, and water;

Water is your friend always, hot weather needs water, never skip drinking because it’s not just good for your health, also good for skin and hair…

Water is needed to prevent dehydration, so never skip it, if you don’t like drinking water so much, add some flavors to it, such as lemon, I love lemon with water, it’s refreshing and calming, or you can add cucumber or watermelon, or any flavor you prefer the most.

SPF is your best friend;

The sun in summer is like touching your skin directly; so SPF is a must, never stop putting it, even if you want to have a tan, which is fun fact that tan is burning by the sun; but even if you love to have a tan, whether having a little time in the sun or put some tan products, don’t skip your SPF…

And please, don’t skip it whether you’re a man or a woman, it’s for everyone!

Don’t eat hot foods, hot sauces, or hot peppers, don’t eat anything hot;

Please, stop eating hot foods in the summer, hot foods aren’t a very good idea in that hot weather; this can cause dehydration and it’s not an addiction, so even if you love hot foods, stay away from it as much as possible in the summer…

Try to be consistent with your skin routine;

Your skin is directly exposed to hot weather and sun, if you’ve a skin routine, try to be consistent with it even if you’re traveling…

If you still don’t have a routine, it’s the time to take care of your skin.

Shower daily or three times a week;

The shower is good in that weather, it’s relaxing and refreshing for you and your skin.

I’m not an expert, but hot water isn’t a good idea in that weather, maybe lukewarm water is good, and not cold nor hot…

Sleep well, and get a good rest;

I’m not the best one to give you this advice, still, I’m telling this one for you and me, sleeping and a good rest are very much needed, and either summer or any other season, it’s always good for our health in and out.

Summer Fruits;

If I like something about summer it’ll be the sea and fruits, take advantage of it, eat it, or make colorful smoothies and juices, either way it’s very refreshing.

Workout time;

If you are working out and have a routine, that’s  good, but be careful in the summer, choose a time when the sun isn’t out or not so direct, not from 12 pm to 5 pm, In Egypt that time the sun is the worst, I don’t know about other countries, bit I think most countries are the same…

Choose a time like 5:30 am or maybe 7 pm, and don’t overdo it, I mean the workout, it’s healthy but overdoing it isn’t healthy.

Don’t stay out in the sun so much;

You might have work outside of your office or if you work from home and have a meeting outside, or go out with friends or family, or you’re at the beach or on vacation so you go out to seize every time; try not to stay under the sun so much, try to not be so direct with hot weathers and sun.

It’s not good to be out in that weather, it’s not just bad for skin and health it might also cause heat stroke, I know some people whose work is outside like construction, if you work with them or know anyone is, provide them with water, if you’re a manger or something, if you are an architect and work with people out in the field try to gove them break and water always.

For the rest of us, if you can prevent being outside in that weather so much, try to do so, even if you’re on the beach, don’t stay exposed to much sun and heat…

If you felt any symptoms of heat stroke, don’t deny it or neglect it and deal with it immediately.

Take care of your gadgets and electronics; and your house;

Last but not least, take care of your gadgets, and electronics, such as not leaving your phone charger in the plug, or leaving your microwave or small oven always in the plug, even the kettle after using it, unplug it…

If you go out and there’s no one at home, unplug everything except the fridge and deep freezer (if you’ve a deep freezer), also turn off the AC when you go out.

Something else take care of your house, don’t skip cleaning, and organizing it, refreshing it with a good deep clean and air spray, always take care not to leave food out or exposed, we all hate insects, so take care…
